A new window to project Catalonia into the world

Catalonia is opening a window to the world with the Catalan News Agency (CNA), a new communication media for the 21st century. Both innovative and brave, the project is Catalan but with an international dimension. It will explain who we are, what we produce, what we possess, how we innovate, investigate, and create. It will do so through the Internet, the most global media, and it will do so in English, the most universal language. We are, without a doubt, looking at good news for our country.
Being more present in the world and pushing for internationalisation constitute some of the strategic priorities of the Government that I have the honour to preside over. These objectives have been implemented since our first day in office. We do so because we know that if we are stronger on the outside, we will be stronger on the inside, as a society, as an economy, as a culture and, as a country, in fact.
I am convinced that with motivation, rigour and energy, the CNA organisers will make this project, which involves well-prepared communication professionals, experts in several fields and opinion leaders, a success. Good job!
